Online tools like MyCase and Doxpop handle much of the routine case lookup work without requiring a courthouse visit.
Records requests can also be submitted through the online form at www.indy.gov/form/Clerk-Record-Request. This is useful when you know what document you need but don't want to visit in person. Staff process requests and can provide certified or uncertified copies depending on what is needed.
Marion County Recorder's Office

Doxpop at www.doxpop.com also covers Marion County court records.
The Recorder's homepage above is the main entry point for information about recording documents in Marion County and for finding online access tools.
Online Record Request Form
Marion County's Clerk offers an online record request form that lets you submit requests without visiting a courthouse location. The form is at www.indy.gov/form/Clerk-Record-Request and covers civil, criminal, and other case types. Fill out the form with the case information you have, and the Clerk's office will process your request and notify you when documents are ready.
This online option is particularly useful for Marion County given the size of the court system and the number of locations. Submit your request online and avoid waiting in line at any of the courthouse facilities.

For court records specifically, Indiana's MyCase portal is free and covers Marion County Circuit and Superior Court cases. Search by name, case number, or attorney. No account is required. Most active and recent case information is available through this system.
